MP3 Rocket Download is an MP3 music downloader for Windows. It works quite well to download music off the Internet. It doesn't seem to use torrents or any other P2P network. I can't tell for sure, but it seems like this application downloads songs off YouTube or websites like that.

Graphically, the application consists of a single window, where you can search for music or see what others have been downloading. The basic search is very simple. All you do is search for a song name, author, or album. A list of results will come up and you can play the song without downloading it or add it to your download queue. The Hot Songs link shows what other people have been downloading. It is a sort of recommendation service that gives you a quick access to popular songs. Additionally, you can search for music of a certain genre. This is done via the "Categories" link.

The quality of the songs isn't great, but it will do for anyone who is not an audiophile. You can encode a song in 320kbps, but the source isn't even 128kbps most of the time.

NOTE: I have recently tried another tool like this called MP3 Free Downloader. They seem to be made by the same people, and the user interfaces are quite identical. So, in case you bought that one, you don't need to buy this one. They are not really competing with each other.
